British director Gareth Evans ("Raid", "Apostle") shared his opinion about the film on DC comics about defstorto. Plans to make such a film appeared in the fall of 2017. The director was supposed to become Evans, and the main role was going to give Joe Mangannello, who played this character in the "League of Justice". Unfortunately, the project was never launched into production.
In an interview with Yahoo Garet Evans told:
I wanted to tell a small story about the birth of a character. For about 100 or 110 minutes. I was at that moment a lot of impressions from South Korea's noar films and wanted to repeat them to some extent. Texture, colors, aggressiveness - all this would be perfect for the story about the defortion.
The director admitted that the team had several truly daring ideas that could make a film unforgettable. At the same time, the plot would allow to saturate the story with bright combat scenes.
Shortly before that, Gareth Evans told in detail about another unvented film. He was ready for a script for the film "Raid 3", in which the main acting character would be the leader of Mafia Goto, intentionally to take revenge on all those who offended him in the first two films. According to Evans, inspiration for the plot turns in this picture, he screamed from the "predator" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. But at the moment the director coiled to this project, so the "raid" will not be the third part.
