The film is a continuation of the 2005 tape "Sharkboy and Lava Adventures". The plot of the sequel is practically not echoing with the original, but the action unfolds in the same universe. Nevertheless, the visual effects "we can become heroes" refer to the picture of the fifteen years ago. In general, in the work on ribbon Rodriguez used his branded and recognizable special effects and visual techniques that could be seen in the "children of spies".
The director told and showed that various green screens applied, as well as ordinary cables, stands and other elements that were retracted or added with the post-gallery. He explained that with a certain fraction of fantasy and creative approach, visual effects can be made with a small budget.
The film "We can become heroes" tells about the world in which the order is guarded by superheroes. But after the aliens abduct them, the children of superheroes come into business, who find the use of all their first-looking stupid superconductances.
