The franchise "Iron Man" became the basis of the entire filmsened Marvel, giving a lot of epic battle scenes, and, as it turned out, the author of the cartoon "Samurai Jack" of Genndi Tartakovski was put on the creation of one of them. The brilliant animator at the request of John Favro came up with the final battle for the second part of the adventures of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), in which he, together with the Warrior (Don Chiddl), fights with Drones Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell).

In an interview with the COMIC book portal, Tartakovski said that Favro highly appreciated his work on the "Samurai Jack", and therefore wanted to see something similar in Iron Man 2. An animator recalls that planning the scene of combat was great, since he immediately had his own vision of what was happening, but he understood that he had understood that the last word remains behind the director.

I just tried to give him what he wanted, and he could use everything or nothing, this is his brainchild,

- Stressed Tartakovski.

He added that he thought out the action-scene, prepared a storyboards and even obsessed how the primary schedule is created, and noticed that in his work he relied on two pillar of combat plots - rhythm and pace. The director managed to inside see what was happening on the set of a large-budget project, but he preferred not to think about the scale of what was happening and just to make the best, which was capable of.

The proposed Tartakovski scene favro liked, but in the draft version of the film she appeared very disposable, which, of course, a lot was upset by Genndi. Fortunately, in the final version, the famous scene turned out to be much closer to the initial idea, so in the end the director was pleased with the collaboration with MARVEL.
