As in the case of many other projects, the shooting of the new Batman was suspended due to coronavirus. Having now more free time, director Matt Rivz talked with the Nerdist portal, sharing some details regarding its version of the dark knight. According to him, it is very important that against the background of previous films about this character of his "Batman" looked fresh and possessed individuality.
I thought so: "Well, in the past, several delightful films about Batman have already been filmed." However, I do not want to be part of a long chain of these paintings, in which mine will be only "one more." It seems to me that they are all very different from each other. The best of them are just incredible. What Made [Christopher] Nolan is incredible. What made [Tim] Burton is something exceptional.

Recall that in his "Batman" Reeves will present Bruce Wayne, who only recently took over the fight against crime under the superhero mask. This circumstance is explained by unusual design solutions regarding the appearance of a dark knight. For example, his suit looks rude, as if he was assembled in handicraft conditions, and his Batmobile is not a unique combat vehicle, but only a tunned Maskar. Explaining his unusual approach to the image of Batman, Rivz added:
I realized that I would like to portray Batman, which is not fully formed. He has not yet understood who exactly wants to be, but there are things that encourage him to do what he is doing. This guy is sent to the night of the night, customized by injury from the past.
The premiere of "Batman" is scheduled for June 24, 2021.
