The "Spiderman" trilogy introduced the world not only with a famous superhero performed by Toby Maguire, but also presented the fans of another idol - editor of Daily Bug Gee John Jameson, who was played by J. K. Simmons. When the franchise ended, it seemed that he would have to say goodbye to the character, but last year he suddenly returned to the "Spider Man: away from home."
Simmons himself in an interview with Collider edition said that in general, his return did not cause differences, and the only thing he was worried about, how much would have to develop a character from the Chaem Raymi's trilogy.

Of course, the external difference between Jameson from the original trilogy and how he appeared in the film marvel, it turned out noticeable, because the car canon is distinguished by a magnificent chapel. But these changes went to him only benefit, give the reliability of what is happening. And most importantly, John Jameson remained faithful to himself, making sensational and ambiguous statements. Hardly someone else would come up to accuse a man-spider in Misterio's death.
By the way, for Simmons fans there is a joyful news: the actor has already signed a contract with Marvel and will emerge at least in two studio films. And one of them will certainly become a spiderman: the enemy at the house, "which will be released on the screens in December 2021.
