Fantasy Comedy "Mask" (1994) became one of the brightest films in the career of Jim Kerry. Since now the film industry is experiencing a boom of sequels and restarts, each iconic film from the past has a chance to get a new life. ComicBook's resource appealed to Kerry with a question if there is a chance that in the future he will play a laugh in a green mask again. On this actor replied:
I do not think about the sequels and other similar things. Of course, in the case of Sonic, the continuation would be natural, because the image of Dr. Eggman was not yet revealed to the fullest. As for the "mask", then I think it would be very depended on the specific director. In fact, the figure of the director here is a key. I do not want to make a new film only for the very very fact of return. But I would have agreed to this only under the condition that a crazy director with a fantastic imagination takes place for the case. There is no doubt.
There is no information about the continuation of the "mask" at the moment, but last year one of the authors of the character Mike Richardson in a conversation with Forbes shared that he would be happy if this role was performed by a woman. Moreover, Richardson hinted that he had even a suitable candidate for this, but did not disclose his preferences.
At the same time, Jim Carrey recently starred in the movie "Sonic in the Cinema", while playing the main villain by name Ivo Robot, who is also known as Dr. Eggman. This picture will be released in the Russian rental of February 2020.
