Padilla has decided to continue the subject of crime and counter-law law enforcement force in a new political action, this time, which goes beyond the borders of his native Rio de Janeiro.
The director intends to highlight the problems of drug trafficking, crime and lawlessness reigning in the notorious zone at the boundaries of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. To create a new criminal tape "Tri-Border" Padilla will combine efforts with the Schistarist "Gran Torino" by the Scholand, and also will be financed by funding.
In the center of the plot is a drug control agent, who arrested Sonator's son during one of the drug addresses. For "official impartiality", he was sent to the "dead" zone of the borders of the three states. The only chance to return home becomes the task to eliminate the chapter of the drug carter.
"The idea is to remove political cinema with elements of a militant capable of, on the one hand, to captivate the viewer, on the other hand, to tell him about the events of this area, as well as about international crime in general," said Padilla.
Wishing to become the owner of valuable information first-hand, the director, together with the screenwriter, went straight to the area, which will be discussed in the picture. Padilla believes the "elite detachment" by a larctural history, unlike a new project, the events in which will be international in nature:
"This is another reality, a completely different environment: the cross-border zone of three countries where criminal groups are thriving - from the Italian, Chinese and Serbian mafia to Bolivian, Colombian and Brazilian drug carriers, including Lebanese smugglers suspected of promoting the movements of Hamas and Hezbollah. Corrupt police and politicians of three states exacerbate the situation. "
