Vogue for the first time in history will publish a photo session with a robot android

One of the heroines of the December issue of Vogue, along with the models, Erica became a robot android, the appearance of which is as close as possible to the appearance of the usual, "human" girl. Japanese scientist Hiroshi Ishiguro created Eric two years ago, in August 2015 - and the scientist himself believes that "the future of robots is not at all for those machines that help people in warehouses, and for realistic androids that can be lost among us."

Meet Erica–a Vogue model who has never had to deal with the traumas of high school. Erica, who was unveiled in August 2015 by the Japanese researcher Hiroshi Ishiguro, is not alive in the conventional sense, but she is certainly real, outdressing, outclassing, outsmarting us all. For Ishiguro, our robotic future won't be populated by Alexas or bots fetching boxes from warehouses, but by androids so realistic that they'll mingle among us.
