In the interview with The Wrap Showranner of the Netflix series "Witcher" Lauren Schmidt Horsrich told how Coronavirus influenced the second season of the series. The shooting took place in the UK, but at some point they had to be interrupted because of the quarantine entered. According to Hissrich, it was necessary to stop "in the middle of a large scene, which was preparing for months."
At the moment, security measures are actively discussed, which will act on the set, after the shooting will be resumed in August. Because of the new rules, the script will be adjusted. But besides them, the change in the plot was influenced and the opportunity to devote him more time:
We pulled a lot for eight additional weeks of work on the script. We made significant changes, first of all concerning the emotional component. In our opinion, everything written looks reasonable and plausible.
Another positive side of Quarantine Hissrich called the fact that the actors at this time actively communicated with fans in social networks. What should bring closer to the audience with the heroes of the series.
The premiere of the second season "Witcher" is scheduled for 2021.
