This news will probably clarify fans, although Martin has rebelled that his new book is still far from completion:

It will be a huge book, so I still have a lot of work.
As you can see, Martin avoids any accurate dates regarding the outlet of the "Winter winds", but it hopes that the novel will be completed in about a year later, that is, by the summer of 2021. The writer also told that he spent the period of self-insulation in his hut in the mountains away from the rebellious world, being in full health as a person at the age of 71.
