Currently, a 36-year-old American actor and producer John David Washington is removed from the star "Euphoria" - 24-year-old Zenday - in a new project called Malcolm & Marie for Netflix channel. The painting tells the history of the relations of the director and his girls during a pandemic. Not so long ago, the network has critical comments related to a 12-year-old difference in the age, which has the main characters. In an interview to edition Variety, Washington responded to attacks of critics: "It does not bother me, because she is a woman."
The actor said that after the release of the film, the audience would also be convicted, "As far as she is." The producer admitted that next to Zenday feels a newcomer, since she has much more experience in this industry. So, John has to even learn from the star "Euphoria". He shared that in some moments relied on "wisdom and insight" of his colleague. Also, Washington believes that any criticism will completely come to no, as soon as the project appears on the screens. "Everyone will see how adult it is in this role," the actor notes.
Malcolm & Marie will be released in separate cinemas in January, and the spectators of Netflix canal expect the premiere on February 5.
