Directed by Denis Vilnev gathered for the screening "Dune" a large number of star actors. It turned out that this solution has a reverse side - not all of them will be present on the screen enough time. In an interview with InStyle Zendai told that she has a small role in the film:

In the film, Zendai performed the role of Chani Cane - the superimpirate of Floor Arthritis, whom Timothy Shalam played. Her statement about a short role was for many surprise, because the closer to the end of the novel, the more in it there. Perhaps Vilnev broke the plot of the novel into several films.
