Recently, Actor Dave Batista, known for the role of the Drax superhero in the "Galaxy Guards", took part in the record of the Podcast Inside of You. In a conversation with his colleague and the leading show by Michael Rosenbaum, the ex-wrestler confessed that he was difficult for him to play Drax due to the fact that it was a comedy role, then as he is more like "Old Drama". Batista added that he himself is ridiculous and cheerful does not think. These comments attracted the attention of the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy James Gunn, who with great warmth responded to the acting manner of Batista:
Drax merry the audience is not because Dave Batista "looks funny", but because Dave plays this character honestly, masterfully and with a soul. Sometimes the coolness of Drax is rapidly, but it is the impressiveness and the foundation of Dave allows us to love him and laugh with him.

Interestingly, in the "Galaxy Guards" with the participation of Drax were not only comedy moments, but also dramatic scenes. For example, the authors planned to tell the tragic prehistory of the hero, whose family was killed right in his eyes. Having got drunk, Draks once talks about the origin of those similar to tattoo marks that cover his body. These materials were filmed, but the final installation did not enter, being available now only as cut scenes.
