"For kids": Vensean Kassel spoke about MARVEL and DC films

The famous French actor Vensene Kassel, also managed to play in many English-speaking films, shared his opinion about the superhero film. In the fresh interview in Inverse, Kassel joined such figures as Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola and David Cronenberg, stating that Marvel and DC films no longer find a response in it. According to the actor, the filmmakes about superheroes - entertainment for children and nothing more:

To be honest, I no longer watch such films. When they had technologies, thanks to which the Iron Man or Spider Man suddenly began to look real, and not stuck in the conventions of special effects, I was interested. Over time, this has become the norm. In childhood I was a big fan of comics. To be honest, it seems to me that these are films for children. And although I have something from a child in me, I would say no. I would not look at them.

Probably, such a position means that Kassel is not interested in getting a role in one of the Marvel Studios or DC Flims projects, but the actor himself still does not close the door to any possibilities:

Perhaps, if it were about some kind of charismatic villain, and at the head of the film would stand smart and talented people, ready to remove something that would not be designed for children, I could agree. But otherwise I will refuse. I received some suggestions, but they assumed long-term participation in projects that I would not even watched to the end.

The last Cassel project is the series "Wild West World", in the third season of which he played a villain named Angeran Serac.
