For this reason, he grew up in a shelter for gifted children, which they constantly train for participation in the tournament. The owner of the shelter of Mandarin (Tony Lün) is the main villain of the film.
At some point, Shan-Chi runs away from the shelter. But Mandarin finds him and offers a deal. Shan-Chi will take part in a special tournament whose winner will receive ten magic rings, and Mandarin will leave the hero in the case of Victory.
The source tournament itself describes how Mortal Kombat in the Marvel world. It will take part not only by people, but also aliens, representatives of other worlds and other famous comic characters. It is promised that in this part we will see many new characters, some of which can become permanent inhabitants of the filmmovered Marvel.
