The HBO Max Stregnation Service, which began in the spring of this year, published a list of the most popular projects from its library. Not a number of viewers nor the calculation methodology is not given.
First place is quite expected to occupy the series "Friends". Even before the service is launched, it was considered as the flagship project. By the beginning of the work of HBO MAX, it was planned to create a special release of "friends", in which all the stars of the project would meet again, but the coronavirus pandemic prevented this plans.
The second place unexpectedly occupies "with a small lag from the leader" comedy TV series "Personal Life". He got mixed feedback from critics, but the magnificent play of the leading role of Anna Kendrick smoothes all the flaws. Recently, the series was extended by the second season. In third place is the "Theory of the Big Explosion".
Also HBO Max reports that the top 25 includes eight of their own projects. In addition to the aforementioned "personal life", the "fatal patrol", the cartoons of Looney Tunes, "in the search", "not quite later a show with Elmo", "quite close" and the transfer of "legendary" and "Waiting for Amy".
At the moment, HBO MAX is 4.1 million subscribers. About 30 million HBO channel subscribers did not use the opportunity to connect to the service for free. However, the management of the company believes that there is no reason for anxiety and the planned target of 50 million subscribers by 2025 will be achieved.
