On January 12, the TV show started on January 1 with a rating of 4.9 million spectators throughout the UK - it is 40% less than in October, when Jodie Whittoker made his debut as the Thirteenth Doctor. Since then, the audience of the series decreased from each week. Last at the moment, the episode in the UK watched only 3.7 million viewers. A similar dynamics is observed at the "Doctor Who" in the United States: now the average audience of the series is 536 thousand spectators, which is 40% less than it was during the eleventh season.
But even despite such depressing statistics, the curator of the BBC Drama Department Pierce Wenger in an interview with Deadline stated that the positions of the "Doctor Who" in the television flea remain unshakable:
