The series "Lucifer" with Tom Ellis survived a lot of shocks, until finally, last month I finally found out that the final will become the sixth season, and not the fifth, as previously assumed. Back in February Netflix and Warner Bros. Television turned to the creators of the show Joe Henderson and Illidi Modrovich with a proposal to expand the boundaries of the series, and what is curious, initially the couple answered "no". In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Henderson admitted that the extension of the series for the sixth season on emotions was strongly reminded what they experienced when it turned out that the fifth season would be not from 10 episodes, and out of 16.

And Ildi added that at some point they realized that they tried to fit the "many wonderful stories" in one season, but in the end, when an additional set of episodes were at their disposal, the Showranners were able to fully immerse themselves in the plot and "explore as characters turned out to be where they were.
