"Anatomy of Passion" returned a few days ago on the screens after a two-month break, and fans who have already knew that Justin Chembers (Alex Karev) will no longer appear in the series, it was especially interesting to observe how the plot will develop after unexpected care so significant character.
It turned out that Shunda Rims Showranner prepared a very simple explanation for the viewers of the disappearance of Karev. In one of the moments of the episode, when Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo) came to visit Alex Joe's wife (Camilla Laddington), she said that he was at his mother in Iowa. And nothing indicated that he left because of some tragic situation. Therefore, for the ignorant viewer, the disappearance of the hero looks like a common storyline.
But sooner or later, it will still need to logically explain why the character who played an important role in the series for 15 years, suddenly disappeared. Of course, the easiest way out would be "kill" Karev, and then the story of Joe could go as a woman, albeit after some time filled with sorrow. But it is possible to rely on the fact that Chembers will agree to return to the shooting area to work on the scene of the farewell, it is hardly worth it.
Of course, considering the significance of the show and the experience of the producer, you can not doubt that the creative team will still find an elegant way to explain the final disappearance of Alex, without disappointing fans.
