According to Deadline, Amazon Studios has decided to stop the development of the TV series "Dark Tower", which was as the basis of which was to lie the same name of the Romanov cycle of Stephen King. The project was trusted by Glena Mazzar, who worked on a television show scenario designed for 13 episodes. The creators even managed to follow the pilot episode, but subsequently the series never got green light.

In the pilot series, the arrow was performed by Sam strike, while a person in black played Yasper Pyatkonen. This series was conceived as the prehistory of the "Dark Tower", in which the audience should have learn what exactly the Roland prompted to get their revolvers and oppose the man in black. Despite failure with Amazon, the creators of the series are looking for other opportunities to implement the project.
