Five months have passed since the second season of the dramatic series of David Fincher "Hunter for Mind" won on Netflix. Since then, from the side of producers, no steps are observed in relation to the third season, whereas last month Netflix allowed the acting of the TV show led by McCallian Holt, Jonathan Groff and Anna Truve switch to other projects. These circumstances indicate that the "mind hunter" may be limited to only two seasons.
Deadline addressed Netflix to comment on the current situation, to which the service representative replied:
At the moment, David [Fincher] focuses on the set of his first film for Netflix called "Mank", as well as at the production of the second season of the series "Love, Death and Robots". In the future, he can return to the "Reason Hunter", but it would be dishonestly retained actors from finding any other work until David is busy with other projects.
In the light of such circumstances, it is unclear whether in principle the third season of the "Reason Hunter". According to the information available, the acting series is delighted with the Fincher, and most artists would be happy to make another season, but now they can also focus on participating in other TV shows. There are also rumors that Fincher was not delighted to restrict the series by one location ("The Hunter for Mind" was filmed in Pittsburgh). Instead, Showranner wished to diversify the project, increasing his budget.
