According to the PRODUCTION WEEKLY resource, the second season of the fantasy series "Witcher" acquired the working name "Mysterious Monsters". Obviously, in such a title, there is a direct hint of the content of the new series: Soon Heralt from Rivia (Henry Cavill) to be faced with some unknown mounds and, it is likely to open a hunt for them.
Debuting on Netflix last year, the "Witcher" immediately conquered universal recognition, becoming a decent film with a cult fantasy cycle "Saga about Velmak" of the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkovsky. In the first season, key characters in the face of Gerasta, Cyrgy (Freya Allan) and Yennipher (Anya Calotra) had their own story arches, which developed at different times. Only in the very end of the trinity of the characters finally crossed, putting an end to temporary jumps in the narration. Apparently, the second season in this regard will be more centralized.
The shooting of the second season "The Witcher" was started in March, but in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the work was urgently suspended. It is expected that production will resume on August 17 in the UK. The premiere of the second season should take place in 2021.
