Kumir Fanbazy "Star Route" William Shetner said that he was open to the idea to return to the role of James T. Kirk, but with some reservations. In an interview with Metro UK, an 89-year-old actor warned that he was not interested in the status of the "wedding general" and the appearance in the format of Kameo. Surely the statement of the Shetner will delight lovers of the "Star Route", because the actor very skeptically belonged to reappear on the screen in the image of Kirk:
If a qualitative scenario is written and my appearance will be logical and justified, then I would be happy [to fulfill Kirk] ... But I would hardly be filmed in the series. It is necessary that the role is spelled out properly and it did not look like Kameo, conceived as a tribute. I do not fit the option at which I just have to show my face.
Fortunately for Shetener (and fans), he may well count on a full-fledged return. And the "Star Way: Picar", and the "Star Path: Discovery" open a lot of opportunities so that the captain of Kirk reminded himself into the whole voice. Perhaps he will follow the example of a pick-up who found a way to overcome death.
