However, before the start of the second season, a change in the creation of the film crew has suddenly occurred. The performer of the leading role of Ruby Rose decided to leave the project. She stated:
I accepted a very difficult decision not to return to the role of Battheumen in the second season. This is by no means frivolousness, since I very much respect the entire film crew and is very grateful for the opportunity to become part of the DC Universe. Thanks to teams Warner Bros. And CW, which always believed in me. Thanks to everyone who made the first season successful.
Since Rose's statement does not say anything about the causes of the decision taken, the fans suggested that the cause can be health problems. At the end of last year, the actress suffered an operation to remove intervertebral hernia. However, sources familiar with the situation argue that health status is not related to the departure from the series.
