According to the New Zealand Commission on the Cinema, shooting can be carried out when registering all participants in the shooting process on a special portal for tracking contacts and with limited the number of simultaneously operating on the set. Director General of the New Zealand Commission on Cinema Annabel Shikhan stated:

From the moment of entering the moratorium on the shooting of our main task was concern for the safety and health of all operating in the film industry. We are grateful for the diligent work of all those from whose activity it depended on the moratorium to be finished as quickly as possible.

At the time of the introduction of Quarantine in New Zealand, they were working on the shooting of the continuation of the "Avatar" and above the series Amazon on the "Lord of the Rings". Theoretically both of these projects can be resumed at any time. In practice, this may prevent this fact that, at least shooting and allowed, any people arriving in the country should spend some time in quarantine. This requirement has not yet been canceled and may prevent the start of the active shooting process.
