The HBO channel is going to create a series based on the classic horror franchise "rising from hell". It is planned that the series will not be a remake, but will continue and will expand the film created by the writer and director Clive Barker.
The director of the first episodes of the series will be David Gordon Green. In 2018, he removed the film "Halloween", reviving the horror series about Maniac Michael Myers. Now he works on the continuations of "Halloween kills" and "Halloween ends." Earlier, Green has already worked on the creation of TV series for HBO, he participated in the projects "Righteous Gemstones" and "On the Day". The scenario of the series will write Mark Velheiden ("Galaxy Star Cruiser", "Heroes") and Michael Dogrti ("Return of Superman", "Wallet or Life").
Earlier it became known that it is planned to remove the full-length remake of the 1987 painting remote from hell. The project will be engaged in SpyGlass Media Group. The director will be David Brookner ("Monsters South", "Ritual"), David Goyer will work on the scenario ("Dark Knight").
In the original film and its continuations are told about Satibs - creatures that enjoy pain, therefore causing flour to those who called them. They appear through the Gate of Hell, representing a puzzle box.
