The famous film director David Lynch prefers to radiate faith in the best even in difficult times. While the world is raging the COVID-19 pandemic, the author of Malkolland Drive and Twin Pizes spends time in his house in Los Angeles, indulging meditation, manual work and supporting damn good coffee. In the latest interview, Vice Lynch magazine expressed his attitude to the situation in the world:
For some reason, we went wrong, so the mother-Nature eventually said: "Quite already, we need to put this end." All this will last long enough to lead to a new way of thinking. Having survived the pandemic, the world will become more wiser. Solving problems that have arisen will be found, and life will become very good. Cinema will return. Everything will work out, and we may heal even better.
At the same time, Lynch expressed the hope that the experience of social insulation will help people "grow spiritually" and just "become kinder". Also, the director said that the coronavirus crisis did not affect his own life:
Now my daily life is practically no different from what was before. I wake up, I cook myself coffee ... then I meditate and go to work.
Interestingly, under the work of Lynch, it means not some new film or a television series - now he is engaged in the manufacture of two wall candelabers, which consist of incandescent lamps, electric filling, plastic from polyester resin and other components. Electricity is one of the leading motifs in Lynch films, so it is not surprising that the creation of lamps is also for him a true act of creativity.
