Mandalorets is an excellent series in any case, but the presence of this charming green creation has become exactly what made this project from the "Star Wars" Universe of the Internet Wars. However, there is one quenching: the existence of a child - if you call it the official name - it is conjured with an impressive story hole in the context of what we know about this alien biological form.
User Reddit Under Nick's U / NBrazelton noticed that the mature age of the child's age in combination with his infant appearance makes it an illogical one of the iodine replicas, which he pronounces in the episode "Empire inflicts back." The attentive fan of "Star Wars" wrote about this:
In Mandalorets, it is said that the baby Yode is 50 years old. Iodine died at the age of 900 years, and in the part of the "empire causes a return kick" it is mentioned that he trains the Jedi now 800 years. This means that he became a mentor for the rest, when he was 100. If he looked in the same way as the baby looks like, he would definitely not be adults enough to be a teacher at the age of 100.
Initially, it seemed that for the baby iodine normally to have an appearance of a baby at 50 years of age, given the total life expectancy for his species. The fact is that this alien race agrees much slower than humanoids. But the phrase from the fifth episode clearly makes it clear that representatives of the species to which the iodine and the child belong to grow in the same proportions as people. It turns out that iodine took away the teach of other Jedies in the "small" age. Of course, everyone knows that he is a great master, but not so much, isn't it?
