Fans of the religious animation series for adults "Rick and Morti" received a special surprise - on the official youtube channel Adult Swim, a five-minute cartoon called "Samurai and Segun" appeared, executed in the stylist of medieval Japan. In this short film, the alternative versions of the heroes - Rick WTM-72 and Segun Morty are forced to join the bloody fight with a ninja arriving from parallel worlds.
Samurai and Segun goes back to several famous anime projects, including the "lone wolf and his child." The authenticity of this funny stylization adds the fact that in the original the film came out in Japanese with English subtitles. True, unlike the original series, this cartoon is made in 3D using computer graphics. The developer of "Samurai and Segun" was the Japanese Anime Studio Deen, and the director and screenwriter of this bonus issue is Caiti Sato, who can be known to the anime fans as the creator of the Yuukai Anna film ("Anna's Answer").
