This unforeseen delay will surely lead to the fact that Netflix will be released new episodes later than expected. The opinion is common that the premiere of the fourth season will take place no earlier than the first months of 2021, and now it turned out that the case is exactly the case - this information was confirmed by the actor David Harbor, performing the role of Jim Hopper.
Like many other celebrities in a quarantine, Harbor tries to support contact with his public through social networks. This week he spent a live broadcast on his page in Instagram, in the course of which answered questions of fans. When Harbor was asked about the release date of the fourth season of "very strange cases", the actor replied that initially the premiere was really appointed at the beginning of 2021, but due to the current situation, the plans will certainly change:

It was assumed that the premiere would be held at the beginning of next year, although I think I was not the one who had the authority to make some statements about this. So now I do not know. Probably, the release of the new season will be shifted at a later time. I hope, back to work as soon as possible, but I do not know how in the end everything will turn.
It is noteworthy that previous seasons of "very strange affairs" were published at different times: if the first and third seasons were broadcast in the summer, then the second was released in autumn. Such an approach removes additional pressure from the creators, and also makes the production schedule more flexible.
