The fans "better call Salu" were delighted when they found out that in the new season they are waiting for a meeting with one of the characters "in all serious". The prequel was returned to the life of Hank Schreidera - an agent of the anti-drug department and the Walter White Walter, who was killed in the last season of the original series.
In an interview with ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, Din Norris said that he and the creators of "better call Salu" Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan discussed the return of his hero for several years. Every time everything was reduced to the experiences of the actor due to the fact that Hank does not have a worthy place in the plot, and it will turn out that he returned, just to celebrate in the show.
When Norris was called again with a proposal to play a Schreidera before shooting the fifth season, he asked only one question:
What do you think, is it worth returning to him?
Hearing from Gilligan an affirmative answer, the actor agreed to take part in the series and began work. Dean admitted that returning to the role of Hank seven years after filming "in all serious" turned out to be "surrealistic." Also, the actor added that, though he felt strange, to be in a familiar atmosphere "was great, and it only revived good memories."
Norris said that, despite the past years and several roles played in this gap, he quickly born into the image of his character thanks to a strong scenario.
It's hard to play when you have bad replicas, but easily, if the great scenarios are taken for work,
- explained the actor. According to him, the work of writers was so ingenious that he had only to learn the words, and immediately after that his character returned.
The new episodes "better call Salu" go on the American Channel AMC on Mondays. The series has already been extended for the sixth season, which will be the last.
