According to TVLine, HBO Max has signed a contract with five actors that will be filmed in the upcoming restart of the series. This is Emily Elin Lind ("Resuscitation", "Revenge", "All My Children"), Whitney Peak ("Cutting the Sabrina's Adventures"), Ali Brown ("Cute Lesarats: Perfectionaries"), Jonathan Fernandez ("Death Weapon") And Jason Gotii ("Peter Peng Alive").

The executive producer of the new series Josh Schwartz said that the "Gossip 2.0" will be more continued than the remake:
We will not have new actors playing Serena and Blair. Although we will be glad to see in the new series of stars old.
