The upcoming Drama "Devil Forever" is a new film director Antonio Campos, whose account such paintings as "Simon-Killer" (2012) and "Christine" (2016). However, this project is primarily attracting the director, and the star cast. The leading roles in the film will be performed by Tov Holland, Robert Pattinson, Bill Scarsgard, Mia Vasikovsk, Harry Melling, Sebastian Stan, Riley Kio, Haley Bennett, Jason Clark and Elaise Scanale. Edition Entertainment Weekly shared exclusive frames, in which some of the artists mentioned appeared in their new images.
The "Devil" forever will be based on the novel of Donald Ray Pollock, published in 2011. This is a family saga, whose action unfolds between the end of World War II and the beginning of the American intervention in Vietnam. The main character is a rebellious guy named Arvin Russell (Holland). The narrative is also replete with many other characters whose fate intersects each other. Although the events of the film occur for the most part in the countryside of the state of Ohio, the shooting took place in Alabama. On the eve of the premiere Holland shared:
I passionately wished to work with Antonio, because his previous films that I had to see, made a strong impression on me. I had to change my emphasis, playing a rustic guy from a certain period of time. Besides, I am glad to work with a new director. Participation in this film was for me exactly what I needed.
Devil Forever will be released on Netflix on September 16.
