The plot of the paintings is based on a genuine story, which happened in Sgarramurdi at the beginning of the 18th century, when one of the villagers stated that she was witch and regularly participates in Sabbaths with her neighbors. Then the Holy Inquisition arrested almost the entire population of Sgarramurdi and the surrounding villages (about 300 people), arranged the court in the case of the "Witinsky Village". He lasted two years. As a result, in 1610, 40 residents of the village were accused of witchcraft, and 11 of them burned at a fire. Since then, Sugramurdi has imprinted in the collective memory of Europeans as a habit of witches.
The official Russian premiere of the "Witches from Sugramurdi" will be held at the Formula Formula Cinema in the TC "Afimoll City" (Presnenskaya Nab., 8) October 11 at 20:00, where the autographs of Mario Casasa will be able to receive tickets in a fan-domain. And the next day, Spanish guests will come to St. Petersburg. The premiere in the northern capital will take place at 20.00 in the Cinema Formula Cinema in the TC "Piterland" (Primorsky Pr., 72). The entire hall of the cinema will be turned into a fan-domed, along which the creators of the film will pass and distribute autographs. All tickets - 800 rubles.
