The fifth season of the series "Lucifer" reached the audience in half the form. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, only eight episodes of this season were shown. But in July, until the viewers waited for news about the timing of the remaining series, a message appeared that the Netflix service decided to extend the series for the sixth season. Although it was previously assumed that the fifth will become final. And now the work on the sixth season began. Showranner of the project Joe Henderson wrote on TWITTER on Tuesday:
Today is our first day of filming the sixth season. I am so glad that we have finished shooting the fifth season and now we will work to complete it and transfer Netflix. Thanks to the whole team for the diligent and safe work, as well as for the stunning finale of the season !!!
Previously, the fans expressed concerns that adding a new season can affect the plot of the fifth. But Henderson reassured them:
One of the important things we insisted, agreeing on the sixth season, is that we will not change the fifth season. Because we like it. When the second half of this season comes out, people will see how much the whole season is combined with each other, what a beautiful puzzle turns out. I love it. And we did not want to change something in the structure of the season.
