CW TV channel officially announced that the series "Supergel" will end after the sixth season. The shooting of this season is planned to be resumed at the end of this month in Vancouver. The season will consist of 20 episodes. The premiere will be held in the middle of 2021.
The series was originally developed for the CBS channel, the president of this channel Nina Tassler wanted a project that could attract the women's audience to the screens. From the second season, the series moved to CW, which caused the movement of production from Los Angeles to Vancouver to reduce the budget of the show.
