The Netflix Stregnation Service decided to close the series "Modified Carbon". Unlike a few days later, "society" and "I don't like it", the abolition of "modified carbon" is not related to the problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Service management did not suit the ratio of the price of the production of one series and the number of viewers of the series. Due to expensive special effects, the series was simply unprofitable.
The "modified carbon" is based on the name of Richard Morgan's novel, published in 2002. The action takes place in the 27th century, when people's consciousness are stored in special devices connected to bodies. Because of this, a special class of long-lived breedes, "Mafov" was formed. The main character, the mercenary Takeshi Kovach, is investigating for the crime maphes.
Due to the concept of "transfer", various actors played consciousness in any body of the main character. In the first season, Kovache was Yuel Kinnaman, and in the second role passed to Anthony Maki. Will Yun Lee, who also visited Takeshi Kovich, published a post in Twitter:
