As Ildi noted, watching the hero of Tom Ellis works with the police, the "Lucifer" scenarios came to the conclusion that it was a "police show", and therefore they simply could not get around the protests that followed the murder of George Floyd.

Also, Modrovich admitted that the episode makes it pretty "nervous", as she wants to show all the events in the right light. The storyline turned out to be very bright in the emotional plan, and the main task of the screenwriters was to show the situation so that it finds a response at the deepest level.
The Ildi added that the writer's team was "a lot of tears" while working on the episode, and the producer Joe Henderson noted that the actors of the show were received in the discussion of the plot, especially D. B. Woodside.
The sixth season "Lucifer" has no date of the premiere, but the first part of the fifth season will appear on Netflix tomorrow, August 21.
