The third season of the series "Star Path: Discovery" will begin to be published in October of this year, but there is reason to believe that the creators have already taken for the development of the fourth season. One of the Showranner "Discovery", as well as the head of the Star Path Universe Alex Kurtzman gave an interview with the Golden Derby website, in which he told about how the coronavirus pandemic influenced the nearest plans within the franchise. In particular, Kurtzman noted:
Our scripts regularly hold meetings in Zoom. Despite adverse circumstances, there is no goodness without good, because our authors managed to significantly advance in writing scenarios for the upcoming seasons "Discovery", "Picara", "strange new worlds" and "Sections 31".
It is noteworthy that officially "Discovery" has not yet been extended to the fourth season, but from the words of Kurttsmann it is clear that this is only a formality. There is no doubt that this series will continue to remain on the air. Also, Kurtzman also told that the initially new Discovery series should have come out before October, but the creators had to shift the release date due to a pandemic:
We were lucky that we had time to follow the third season "Discovery" ten days before the start of Quarantine. We had to end the post-production, but due to the current situation, the workflow was significantly slowed down. For editing and creators of special effects, it was a very difficult time, but in the end we brought the case to the end.
The premiere of the third season "Star Path: Discovery" will be held on CBS on October 15.
