The official Twitter account of the series "Close close" published a post that the project has been extended to the second season. Comicbook portal interviewed the creator of the series J. J. Quintel:
"The usual show" I did about how I was in college, hanging out with friends, got a job, having fun and relaxed. But this show lasted too long, I have changed a lot to his end. I got married, started the children, so the "ordinary show" was no longer my story. It was a story about how I was in the past. And I wanted to talk about things that I feel now.

So the idea of "close enough" appeared. It is more related to problems and situations from the life of people in thirty. It is about how to be responsible, especially if you have children, you care about them and all that. I could not tell such stories using the "usual show", so this is a great option to talk to such topics.
There is always the risk that you may not like your project. So it is very cool that this series is also watching those people who have never heard about the "ordinary show", and they like everything. I know that it is still too early to talk about it, but I hope that the project will attract new spectators. But those who loved the "ordinary show" will also remain with us.
