Despite the fact that the ninja turtles are among the most strange characters of comics, for the time after their occurrence, they repeatedly became the heroes of films and TV shows. The next one who tries to tell their history in the full-length animation film will become Seth Rogen. In this he will be helped by his regular partners in creativity Evan Goldberg and James Weaver, directed by Jeff Row and Nickelodeon Studio.
In an interview with Collider, Rogen shared his plans:
Maybe it will sound strange, but I am all my life, I am a fan of ninja turtles. And the teenage part in the title (the literal name of the comic is translated as "Teens-mutants ninja-turtle") was for me the most memorable part. As a person who loves movies about adolescents and made a bunch of such films, and in fact and career began with writing a teenage script, I strongly starts the idea to tell the story of growing up. Of course, not to the detriment of the rest, but this topic will be the starting point of the film.
Ninja turtles were invented by the authors of comic Kevin Eastman and Peter Lardom in 1984. In 1987, the first time was the heroes of the animated series, and in 1990 - a full-length film. Since then, there have been a lot of serials and films about them.
