In April of this year, journalists reported that the audience remained unhappy with the film after the tape test show. The Blumhouse Studio promptly responded to a negative reaction and started a reflection, which eventually went the picture for the benefit. Halloween received high marks from critics and spectators, managed eight times to recoup the production budget for the first weekend and, most likely, will receive the promised sequel.
Those who have already looked the film or is not afraid of spoilers, the creators told an alternative history final. In the original version of Laurie Stroj's script (Jamie Lee Kurtis) fights Michael Meers (Nick Castle) on the knives to protect his granddaughter. In this fight, the maniac manages stroke into the chest, but her daughter runs out of the house with a crossbow and wounds Myers arrow in the back. It stumbles and falls. The scene in which he lies in the middle of training mannequins, breathing heavily, should mean the final death of the maniac. In the film from Michael Myers, heavier breathing on the screens, on the contrary, hints at what he survived and will return.
