What is the movie about:
The picture takes place in about 1962, against the background of the confrontation of the USSR and the United States in the Cold War. Elaise is a cleaner in the secret military laboratory in Baltimore, an inconspicuous woman with a boring and monotonous life. Due to the injury transferred in childhood, she remained a dumb. A new "object" of study is brought to the laboratory. Elaise and her colleague Zelda learn that this is a creature - amphibian, by appearance - Humanoid. Elaise begins to watch the creature and gradually between them there is a kind of connection. When Elaise finds out that the subject of its attachment is going to kill and disseminate, it organizes the operation to save the creature.
