In an interview with HEALTHY FOR MEN, Robert Pattinson discussed the physical shape, which is needed in order to play a superhero, and admitted that he had doubts whether he should agree to the role of Batman:
In each project in which I had to take part, I always wanted to learn something new. As a rule, this is due to the embodiment of a character who has a different personality, another image of thoughts. But other physical activity too.
Each actor is typical of times to doubt and wonder whether it can meet expectations and embody the character as written in the script. I looked at the actors who play superheroes - Hemsworth, Rock, Downey Jr. - and wondered, and I was on my place. But, talking to them, I learned that everyone is nervous when they receive such a role. It's about overcoming barriers and awareness of the fact that you meet the physical requirements. And all the proceedable physical power will then be added to the frame with the help of special effects.
The premiere of "Batman" is scheduled for October 2021.
