Anonim

Helena Bonmem Carter, who at the Bafta ceremony received a reward for the best female role of the second plan for the role in the Ribe "King says!" (In the film - the wife of George VI), said that she was attracted in the script of the painting, and shared the experience of working with an English director in his interview.

How did you find yourself in the project?

Volume though persuaded me to take part in the shooting, and I did not give any answer. And then everything spun everything, and I was on the set. The fact is that at that time I was busy - I worked on "Harry Potter", besides, I have two more children ... So I all felt: "Tom, I'm my mother, and I just need to pay time to children " But, as you understand, Tom is a very purposeful person.

What attracted you in the script?

I liked this story insanely. To be honest, I would love to play the very king of George, only the actor on this role was then chosen. "The king says!" - One of the rare cases when a truly good scenario receives government financing. The relations of the heroes are incredibly touching. And I really like the main idea of the picture about how essential one person can help the other when the hands fall from despair.

What can you say about King George VI and his spouse?

Many say that he could never become a king if he was not married to such a strong woman. The queen quicted in many respects and raised him a fairly low self-esteem. It seems to me that it was a very successful partnership, the real symbiosis.

What can you say about the director Tome Hupelier?

Tom is a very purposeful person, he does not accept failures and often like a tank, rushing out. It is very focused on his ideas, and if something came to his mind, he completely ignores the thoughts and ideas of other people. He all gets what he wants.

What was the one to work with the Colin Entry and Jeffrey Raster?

Colin has a gift to touch the soul of others. He did not play a character with the problem of speech for the first time, and he does well and naturally turns out. Looking at how Colin plays, I was sure that my role would be easy to fulfill: he unconditionally believe and compassion. What is wondering when Colin and Jeffrey together on the site is a circus, an inapproprible clownade. Jeffrey is very talented and versatile actor - it can be funny and pity, very sensual and sad, and all this in one moment of an eye. From their constant conversations it was sometimes difficult to focus. But it was fun. Cameras are aimed at Colin - it rolls back again. But as soon as the cameras are turned off - Colin starts to speak without stop, mainly about Britain, and it is so exciting and cleverly that, in my opinion, both of them are worth starting their talk show.

"The king says!" It turns out all the cinemas of the country on February 24.
