When Keanu Reeves was approved for a leading role in the film "Konstantin: Lord of Darkness" (2005), some fans adopted this news with surprise, since externally rivz is not at all like its character, how it appears on the pages of the relevant comics. The fact is that in the original source John Konstantin is a blond, who at the same time speaks with a British accent - in the film both these characteristics have been changed.

For many viewers, this picture has become the first acquaintance with the capital character, but even among the avid fans there were those who recognized this screening successful. At the same time, another part of the fans was upset because of those striking changes that their favorite character has undergone. The other day, within the framework of the Comic-Con festival, an online reunion of Konstantin creators took place. During the conversation, Francis Lawrence admitted that he and his team did not think at all about making Rivza as much as possible on Konstantin from comic:
We never talked about it. I remember that in terms of the costume, we also made a lot of change, because Konstantin usually wore a brown coat. We tried the idea with a coat, but in the end I stopped on black ... We went to these changes, because they fit into what we did.
Earlier there were rumors that "Konstantin" with Rivz can acquire Sixel, but this information did not receive official confirmation. Despite this, the creators of the original recognize that they would be glad to remove the continuation if the producers and owners of rights to "Constantine" will give them such an opportunity.
