In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Chad Stachelski told about the upcoming film "John Piq 4" with Kiana Rivz in the lead role. At the beginning of the interview, the journalist reminded the director's words, which from the third part had to remove the storyline to save for the fourth, and asked to tell in more detail. Stachelski told the following:
There are a couple of such moments. In them you can see the obvious impact of old Western films and films about Samurai. And still stories about the knights of the round table and all the same, we return to this. We had a few topics I cut to the required minimum. And there were two sequences of scenes for which there was simply no place. I hope that interest 90 of them I can include in John Whitch 4.
To the question of whether there is any benefit from stopping filming because of the coronavirus pandemic or only one harm, the director replied:
And that and that. It gave time for the creative phase. I communicate with our scenario team. We need some time to come up with what we want to do and how crazy it will be. We have a lot of ideas because of an excess time, it remains only to understand which of them will live to incarnation. Any time is good if you are doing a favorite thing.
The premiere of the film "John PiK 4" is scheduled for May 26, 2022.
