Amazon Studios launches a new project with the star of the TV series "Buffy - Vampire Slayer" Sarah Michel Gellar in the lead role. The show called Hot Pink, based on a series of novels for adolescents, will explore the problems of growing young girls.
According to the Edition Deadline, only the pilot of the upcoming project is approved. Amazon Studios will develop it together with the Annapurna Pictures manufacturing company. The creator of the series Elizabeth Hill also will also perform the executive producer. The formulation will deal with Deeer Ahavan, responsible for the films "Proper behavior" and "Mixed Education Cameron Post".
The upcoming show will be removed based on the popular series of adolescent novels of Elans K. Arnold called "From what girls are made." In books where events are shown through the eyes of a 16-year-old main character, the "present, intricate and disorderly", but "prosperous heartbeat of an adheating young woman" is investigated. For his series, "From what girls are made" in 2017, Arnold became the laureate of the National Book Prize in the field of literature for adolescents.
