The second season "Heritage" was already marked by the appearance of one of the key characters of the Vampire Diaries. The villain Kai Parker performed by Chris Wood returned to exit other heroes over two episodes. As a result, his plans were torn, and yet it showed that other heroes have a chance to celebrate in the show, of course, if this is wanted by producer Julie Plek.
Sebastian Roche played bad guys in many mystical serials. For example, he got the role of Angela Baltazar in "Supernatural", and in the "Vampire Diaries" he portrayed the villain of Michael Michaelson, one of the most memorable antagonists. Naturally, the actor returned to his character and in Spin-off "Ancient", so it is possible that he may appear in the "heritage".
In an interview with TV Guide, Sebastian remarked that "Michael would be fun" appear in the "heritage" and adding the heroes of trouble, but it all depends on the decide of the Showranner. The fans would probably be delighted if one of the oldest vampires were again in the field of their vision, and considering that Michael was unspecified and restrained from the dead, his appearance in Mystic Falls would be easy to explain.
Of course, it is impossible to say exactly if Roche will appear in the "heritage", but in one you can be sure: it will definitely not happen in the second season. The production of the series was discontinued due to coronavirus in mid-March, and the remaining episodes remained not removed. And, unfortunately, fans will have to wait longer than usual to find out what will happen next.
