Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the BAFTA TV 2020 awards ceremony took place in the online format. The winners stayed at home, like all the other viewers of the ceremony.
Not without surprises. Favorite in the nomination "Best Comedy Series", "Dryan", lost the series "Stas everything will be passed." And the project Netflix and Channel 4 "End of *** World" bypassed the "crown" from the same Netflix and Sony Pictures. The prize for the best mini-series received "Chernobyl".
The best actress of the series was recognized by Glend Jackson for the role in the series "Find Elizabeth". Idris Elba received a special award for "his role in protecting diversity in the industry."
